The study is to identify means of strengthening the domestic
pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, particularly in the area of
generic drug production. To do this the study:
- Identifies the drivers of competitiveness in the market for
generic pharmaceuticals.
- Proposes collective and individual actions by labour,
government, industry associations and individual companies to
address these competitive issues.
- Aims to build capacity and co-operation between stakeholders in
the pharmaceutical sector.
