NEDLAC'S DEVELOPMENT CHAMBER TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORKS, JEFF RADEBE

Nedlac's Development Chamber is holding a strategy session today and tomorrow in order to develop its work programme for the yearahead. Issues that the Chamber have been dealing with include the housing project which was finalised at the Jobs Summit;

issues regarding social security; rural and land development and the construction industry.

Although the Chamber's work falls under a number of government departments, the lead department is Public Works. The Minister of Public Works, Jeff Radebe, will address the strategy session tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
