The South African Labour Bulletin is an independent publication produced by Umanyano Publications, funded by a subscriber base, as well as support from the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), Strengthening Civil Society Fund and the Department of Labour.

It has been published since 1974. The bulletin publishes articles from contributors, as well as articles written by the editor. It operates under an editorial board.

In order to assist access to SALB material whilst the Bulletin is in the process of establishing a presence on the web, Nedlac has agreed to carry the bulletin on its site. Opinions expressed in the bulletin are therefore not necessarily those of Nedlac.
