NEDLAC PUBLICATIONS IN 2001

This is the first edition of the new-look "Dialogue", an expanded publication which will incorporate the four page "Nedlac News Update" and the tabloid "Dialogue" previously published. It will come out every two months and cover issues on Nedlac's agenda, activities at Nedlac and other information of use and interest to Nedlac's constituencies.

In 2001, Nedlac launches another new publication, a quarterly bulletin of socio-economic and development indicators, compiling indicators from a variety of different sources. The bulletin will monitor trends in a number of areas, and build on the work already published in Nedlac's Annual Report. The first edition is targeted for March.

Nedlac's Annual Report will be published in June, and will report to Parliament on Nedlac's activities during the financial year 1 April 2000 - 31 March 2001.

Nedlac will continue to run a column in the South African Labour Bulletin, which will focus on aspects of Nedlac's work of particular interest on the labour front.

In a joint initiative with Indicator South Africa magazine, which is targeted particularly at the research community, we will continue to provide updates on the research work currently on Nedlac's agenda.
