VISITS TO NEDLAC

Nedlac has hosted a number of visits in the past few weeks, both from local and international guests.

Ditsela Advanced Organiser Development Programme

About 20 Cosatu Organisers visited Nedlac in August and enjoyed particularly the interactions with senior representatives from the constituencies - Deputy DG of the Dept. of Labour, Les Kettledas, and Deputy GS of Ceppwawu, Bengeza Mthombeni. Sipho Masuku of the South African Youth Council represented Community.

French Senate Budget Committee

A group of 8 Senators, led by the President of the Senate, visited Nedlac on 2 September, and had a lively discussion with the secretariat and constituency representatives.

People's Republic of China

A 7-member delegation, including the Governor of the Shandong Province (which has 90 million people, a 12% growth rate and a 3,5% unemployment rate) visited Nedlac on 3 September.
